The Philippines is currently experiencing an extreme heatwave. The otherwise green leaves on the trees are drying out and falling off, and the country is thirsty for water. So the refreshing, sweet rain that fell this morning was all the more welcome.
Our school is growing steadily. Two to three pupils and two teachers are recruiting for the next term at nearby primary schools. As the number of students increases, so do our responsibilities, but we remain happy and motivated.
In addition, teachers and students organise a ‘Cleaning Day’ on the last Friday of every month, where classrooms and outdoor areas are cleaned together.
